Why the Rename
Splitting the "Thar" and "Thar Roxx" naming more clearly (OG = "Original" 3-door) helps Mahindra avoid buyer confusion between the two body styles, especially as both now sit in overlapping price brackets. The Thar OG retains its go-anywhere 3-door proportions and shorter wheelbase, aimed squarely at buyers who want maximum off-road capability over the Roxx's added practicality.
